We now live in a world where an environmental strategy is no longer an optional extra, but an essential element of business practice.  But how do we choose strategies which are robust and will survive the scrutiny of an increasing knowledgeable and sceptical marketplace?  This 7th Australian Conference on Life Cycle Assessment will bring together world leaders in area of sustainability science and life cycle assessment, people who have been advising the retailers in the US and UK, to reveal what sustainability strategies will look like in the future.  In addition to this the conference will bring together an expanded group of LCA practitioners from around Australia working in specific sectors such as agriculture, food, building, water and consumer products.

Note that the conference platform presentations will be limited but a power poster session will held where people presenting posters have two minutes to summarize their poster to the audience, prior to a conventional poster session discussion time.

Keynote Speakers:

Jane Bare, EPA, USA

Professor Roland Clift CBE, Centre for Environmental Strategy, University of Surrey, UK

Dr Pascal Lesage, École Polytechnique de Montreal, Canada
